The IBC AL East is as good as advertised so far:

1. Toronto Blue Jays (23-12, .657, --)
2. Boston Red Sox (21-12, .636, 1)
3. New York Yankees (21-13, .618, 1.5)
4. Baltimore Orioles (21-14, .600, 2)
5. Tampa Bay Devil Rays (10-24, .294, 12.5)

The AL's 4 best records are in the east, as are 3 of the top 4 in runs scored and runs allowed. The top 4 in run differential are all in the AL East.

Not sure who I feel worse for, the DRays or the 2 teams who could finish among the AL's top 4 and both miss the playoffs. At least Tampa will be rewarded with a nice draft pick for taking a beating all year.

Praise Zeus that I'm in the AL Central Division where it looks like .500 could win.

It's the little things that keep me going...

Getting more than 5 innings out of a starter.

Not getting shut out.

Waiving Hatteberg because he was 1 for 30 against lefties this year and the sim played him at SS for me the other day.

However, things seem to be heading in the right direction:

In a new league, just beginning it's inaugral draft 9 IBC DevilRays have gone in the first 127 picks.

11. Andrew Miller
23. Billy Butler
46. Colby Rasmus
49. Jamie Garcia
54. Michael Bowden
65. Cedric Hunter
119. Dustin Richardson
122. Tony Butler
127. Chris Begg
