was there today, it was an absolute shitshow. Biggest madness I've ever seen on the infield, about 100,000 college kids going nuts. Made over 500 today thanks to hitting 3 exactas and a nice 250 dollar bet on the 1-5 BIG BROWN!

Best showing by a horse I've ever seen. This horse HAS to win the Belmont. Never even had to use the whip on him

Casino Drive is gonna be waiting for him in the Belmont, and when I saw that horse run on TVG while I was up there in Kentucky I was convinced the Belmont Stakes was all but his. Big Brown's showing today changed my mind, but it still wouldn't surprise me to see Casino Drive take it from him. That race is so fucking long it's just impossible to know what's going to happen.

Every year it seems like the same horse takes Kentucky and the Preakness and everyone gets excited about him winning Belmont too... and it doesn't happen. The Belmont is just too different a race.

Perhaps, but did you watch the race yesterday? The f'ing jockey held up the horse the entire race except for like 3 seconds and he wont by 87,431 lengths. It was like he hit the goddamn turbo button.

We've seen horses win the first two quite a few times - but I can't remember any being this ridiculous. If they had kept that race going that horse may have celebrated and been heading back home by the time the others finished.

Maybe, but I doubt it. And I certainly wouldn't put money on it. We'll find out in about 3 weeks though...

It's also important to remember that this was the weakest Preakness field in a long time, maybe ever.
