Signing Freeze End Date

Post by Cardinals »

As a result of people being away or traveling this weekend for Easter, we are extending the signing freeze.

The Freeze will end Monday, 12 PM EST. Waiver claims will begin at this point and will last for 24 hours. All players claimed will be awarded on Tuesday at 12 PM EST with all unclaimed players returning to the regular free agent pool.

This seems to be the fairest solution and allows everybody the luxury of digesting the database at their own pace for the holiday weekend.

Great decision. even though i've looked a lot of it over its best for the league, good way to run shop boys.

Are we sending a list to someone this year or are we doing it through OOPPSS?

And, if we are doing it thru OOPSS, then the players won't be awarded until 24 hours after first claim, as opposed to exactly at "Tuesday at 12 PM EST", correct?

I mean, we are talking regular claims here, no?

All players are on waivers so I'm not sure what a "regular claim" is? If a player is unclaimed after 12 PM Tuesday by my understanding he is a free agent.
