Off-season Block
While the regular season is still underway, the Guardians are trending toward oblivion. Therefore, let's get started on off-season moves.
I'll be looking to pick up some draft picks before February, primarily in the first couple rounds. I also will need a middle infielder and 1-2 middle/back relievers.
Available:
Nick Pivetta: wrapping up a 3.5+ fwar season
Jurickson Profar: 2025 stats mirror 2024 stats, with a solid 127 RC+ In a full season, he likely matches his HR/RBI numbers
Young SP: I have a chunk of guys in the Harrison, Wicks, Santos, Rock mold
Dylan Crews: I'm very high on Crews, but I recognize he needs a little more work with the bat. Ideally, DeLauter starts in LF next year, so Crews could be had. But he'll require a good amount.

Re: Off-season Block
I'm adding Corey Seager to my offseason block. He's my longest-tenured player -- I drafted him in 2012 and have never traded him (Other than the great April Fools Day Trade of 2024). However, in the spirit of my 2025 plan to get younger, I'm seeing what's out there.
ZiPS are, unexpectedly, top-notch: .260/.349/.458 136 OPS+ +3 D 4.6 fWAR 21 HR in 430 AB. Tulo, Josh Donaldson, George Brett comps. I have no real startable option behind him, so I would be looking for a young MLB/mature prospect with a projection SS to replace him since Rainer and Morales are still a ways off.
Open to ideas and the offseason is long. Lemme know.

Adding a lockdown lefty RP to the block:

Re: Off-season Block
Pivetta is off the board. I still have some solid young depth guys available if you're looking for an arm. Couple solid RP and two monster bats along with some serviceable ones. At this point, I'm hunting young players, prospects, picks.

Re: Off-season Block
Really tough to move Seager tonight, but I got a lot of players back who I like and who fit the profile of what I'm trying to do.
Still have a stud in Jose Ramirez, vets Anthony Santander, Sal Perez, Jurickson Profar, and a few solid RP I can deal. I don't necessarily need replacements, so the options are wide open.

Re: Off-season Block
What a whirlwind of a couple days. The roster is completely churning.
I have some role players I can easily move:
Trevor Larnach .249/.325/.404 15 HR 58 RBI 0 D 100 OPS+ (504 PA) L
Rhys Hoskins .221/.316/.408 17 HR 46 RBI 0.6 fWAR (434 PA) R
Some quasi-useful and/or young guys:
Will Wagner .249/.330/.355 5 HR 36 RBI +3 D 1.5 fWAR 91 OPS+ (383 PA) L
Max Scherzer 4.23 ERA 100 ERA+ 95.2 IP 93 K 26 BB 1.0 fWAR
Johan Oviedo 4.28 ERA 97 ERA+ 96.2 IP 93 K 41 BB 1.1 fWAR
Kyle Harrison 4.34 ERA 96 ERA+ 110 IP 107 K 43 BB 1.2 fWAR
Joe Rock 4.30 ERA 4.28 FIP 95 ERA+ 106.2 IP 85 K 35 BB 1.1 fWAR
Tim Herrin 3.54 ERA 120 ERA+ 56 IP 59 K 26 BB 0.6 fWAR
Vets who still have plenty to give, per ZiPS:
Jurickson Profar .252/.346/.406 14 HR 56 RBI -7 D 112 OPS+ (501 PA) B
Anthony Santander .228/.309/.455 27 HR 78 RBI 0 D 107 OPS+ (508 PA) B
International darilng:
Drew Anderson 4.19 ERA 131 IP 147 K 48 BB 1.9 fWAR
I do end up in a roster situation if I move Profar and Santander, so I would like young OF back if I discuss them, but I'm wide open on the other names. Let's keep the good times going.

Re: Off-season Block
Good news! Profar was traded.
Bad news! Santander blew out his shoulder. So, he's off the block. Could now use a fill-in corner OF if anyone has one for cheap. Later pick for someone?
Still also have available:
Drew Anderson 4.19 ERA 131 IP 147 K 48 BB 1.9 fWAR
Trevor Larnach .249/.325/.404 15 HR 58 RBI 0 D 100 OPS+ (504 PA) L

Re: Off-season Block
Reminder that I also still have top 10 hitter Jose Ramirez available. He's a stud, but I've decidedly gone in a younger direction. If someone's looking for a 5 win 3B just about guaranteed for a 30/30 season, let me know.

Re: Off-season Block
Adding Kyle Manzardo to the block. I had some preliminary conversations around him, but nothing finalized. 25-year-old slugging 1B who crushed 27 bombs last year. With some swing tweaks, I think he's got another level. With Eldridge and Casas, I can afford to entertain moving him. Looking primarily for an equivalent outfielder, but open to other ideas.

I'll also mention I'd like to pick up a couple picks in the next 30 spots or so, if anyone has extras.
