Daniel Espino Touches 100 MPH In Scoreless Inning

It’s been a long road to recovery for the Guardians Daniel Espino. So far so good as Espino has returned to action with the Surprise of the Arizona Fall League. Over three single inning appearances Espino has yet to allow a run. On Wednesday Espino opened Surprise’s 10-1 drubbing of Scottsdale by throwing a scoreless first, striking out three. Espino hit 100 mph during the start and has shown his signature stuff in his return to action in 2025.
