ALE: NYY - he'll be hurt for a bit by the injuries, but so will Toronto by Duchscherer's, and he averages about 115 wins and a 350 run differential in the sims I run

ALC: DET - gotta pick myself since this is the first time it's not ridiculous to do so

ALW: OAK - going the boring route here and not picking the huge darkhorse, Texas, who does win it periodically in my sims

AL WC: KC - Toronto isn't going anywhere and will be in any race, and Boston has a shot, but KC usually wins it for me

NLE: FLA - Philly will make a run, and the Marlins have pitching injury issues, but once again he usually wins it in my sims

NLC: CIN - too good, probably once again the second best roster in IBC

NLW: SF - this should be a really good race, but SF has the right looking mix

NL WC: ARI - several teams, Philly, SD, and half of the NLC for a few, could be in this race...pretty much just a question of how seriously Jagger takes this season

WS: NYY and Cincy

Champs - gonna predict a second ring for Bornas

I predict the kvetching about Zips will last all season (rightfully so).

Addiitionally, the AL Beast will win it's 4th IBC WS. It will probably be JB, but Pat and I could both do some serious damage if we get to the playoffs.

I predict I rarely sim on time if this is the case.

After some new sims with the new DB a few adjusted projections from the arbitrary preview:

ALE: New York still wins. Boston sneaks up on Toronto and the two of them battle it out for the WC (assuming Bren pays attention all year).

ALC: Detroit Rock City. Also Chicago won't suck as bad as I initially projected. As awesome as Z's team looks, he doesn't make the playoffs.

ALW: I'm going into this season with 6 platoons. That's gotta be some kind of record. I still win. My sims have Texas running out to a fast start and then falling down back down to earth, with me winning with between 88-92 wins.

NLE: All the Marlins' injuries make this race wide open. I'm going to go against my pick again and take Washington.

NLC: Nate. That is all.

NLW: Arizona, back to back for Jag. San Francisco surprises and takes the WC from St. Louis.

ALE: New York. Again. This is the easiest prediction.
ALC: Detroit. And KC will be in third.
ALW: Oakland (though this division's race will be like a spoon fight and two teams that DON'T win the AL wild card will have more wins than this champion)
NLE: Florida...at the wire.
NLC: Cincinnati in a walk
NLW: Los Angeles pulls it off with surprising ease.

AL Wild Card: Minnesota. Hey, we have a better shot than most think.
NL Wild Card: Arizona, as St. Louis misses the playoffs for the first time in...years.

NYY over MN, Det over Oak, NYY over Det
Cin over AZ, LAD over FL, LAD over Cin

Dodgers take the championship (another easy prediction, given the Yankees' post season successes...)

Have you looked at my team lately? Or Jag's? Or Martin's?
