I have no idea if he'd be interested or not, but I wanted to ask those of you who are in the BCMBL whether the IBC could 'handle' Dan Passner as a GM here or not?

Obviously Dave Mueller would be a great addition, but I know he is too busy for another league. I know Larry Bestwick has been interested in the past.

Any opinions on these, or any other possibilities would be appreciated, at least by me.

Not Dan. He ruba a lot of people the wrong way. And he sucks as a trader. Larry would be good. He's a good guy and a very good owner.

Larry was an IBC GM in 2007 (not sure that rules him in or out)

They could use a few weeks before the deadline to make an impact. I'm all for moving quickly.

I've still got a guy interested, if we want fresh blood. Child hood friend from school. Huge baseball nut. A Rockies fan and married to a Reds fan. I realize there's inexperience here, but fresh blood is something to consider.
