And we come down the stretch run with only nine more series remaining (21/22, 23/24, 25/26, 27/28/29) and four days of regular season simming as I'll do three series Thursday and then begin the tournament Friday or Saturday.

Three teams have eclipsed the forty win mark (Phillies [42], Yankees [41], Dodgers [40]), with the Pirates on the cusp of it at 39. Each league has three teams playing .600 ball or better, (Yankees, Red Sox, Blue Jays, Phillies, Dodgers and Pirates.)

Cleveland's losing streak reached 19, but did it hit 20?

The Blue Jays lead the league with 390 runs scored. The Astros are last and have only plated 200 runs. The Jays are the only team hitting above .300, and are hitting at a .321 clip. The Royals are the second highest at .285. The Jays are hitting at .321/.389/.524 clip which is quite remarkable for a team. Good for a .913 team OPS, nearly 100 points higher than the next highest (Reds.)

The Pirates and Cardinals are the only two teams with sub 3 ERA's. Pittsburgh is #1 with a 2.84 ERA and St. Louis is second with a 2.85 ERA. The two teams will square off in a series tomorrow. The next lowest are the Yankees at a 3.11 clip, and then Philadelphia is fourth at 3.46.

There has been an astounding 157 complete games hurled. The Mets are the only team without one, and the Padres and Red Sox pace the league with 10 each.

Chipper Jones has a 12 RBI lead on the second highest with 69, Adam LaRoche and Prince Fielder are tied for second with 57.

Konerko leads the league with 22 HR's, Bonds is second with 21.

Jose Reyes has swiped a league leading 39 bags, but has been thrown out 11 times.

Ryan Howard has been intentionally walked 23 times. The next highest total is Brian McCann of Pittsburgh with 10.

Adrian Gonzalez is currently on a 21 game hitting streak. David Wright has had the longest this season at 23, so Gonzalez can eclipse that his next series.
