A New Day in Arlington

Post by Rockies »

1 day into the season marks the first time of the Dudowsky reign in Texas that you can honestly say this team is competitive, with the additions of Derek Lee, Carlos Zambrano, and Cory Wade to bolster the pen. It was sad to see the young Ranger stars of Brian Matusz and James Loney (dear to my heart), but the opportunity to upgrade my Offense, SP, and bullpen in the same deal was too much to pass up. With that said, anyone who would like to change their predictions, I have no problem allowing it despite the start of the season:

For the record, I picked the Rangers before the move. Call it a hunch.
2008-2023 Mets: 1,054-1,223...463%
2006-2008 Rockies: 242-244...498%

IBC Total: 1,296-1,467...469%
2022: lost WC
2023: lost WC

I thought you made this move to make up for Rich Harden's inevitable arm exploding (which can't be far off given his recent outings) and Santana's arm problems???

I do love all those right handed bats you have lined up in the middle of your order now though.

Either way, it is a good time to make a move for the AL West division title....the usual contenders are definately down a notch this season.

If someone was standing in the southern hemisphere looking at us upside down we could appear to have been "up" at one point.
