2018 Twins Offseason Block

Post by Twins »

I have quite a bit of work to do this offseason after sputtering to a below-.500 finish and having KC overtake me in the division hierarchy.

Main targets for improvement: SP, 1B, 3B, DH

You can find my depth chart here.

Here's who I'm actively shopping. As always, just because someone isn't listed doesn't mean they're not available (well, except maybe for Lindor):

3B Yunel Escobar
SS Jose Reyes
OF Jacoby Ellsbury
OF Mallex Smith
OF Hunter Dozier
OF Jorge Soler
Prospects - see above
Draft picks - see above (also looking to add some first and second rounders)
2010 KC 83-79
2011 KC 94-68
2012 KC 83-79
2013 KC 90-72; AL Central Champs
2014 KC 84-78
2015 KC 103-59; AL Central Champs
2016 KC 97-65; Lost WC Game to BAL
2017 MIN 80-82
2018 MIN 84-78
2019 MIN 80-82

Overall IBC Record 1040-903

Grandal, Hicks, Frazier, Gonsalves, and Kramer are gone. Still looking to add one or two more SP, an upgrade at either 1B or DH (don't need both anymore with Santana), and especially a long term solution at 3B.

The above list isn't exclusive, so if you see a player you like, don't hesitate to ask.
