Starting the year in the minors

Banuelos, Manuel
Brackman, Andrew
McAllister, Zach
Reifer, Adam
Leonard, Joe
Morris, Akeel
Perkins, Kendrick
Rojas Jr., Mel
Bird, Gregory
Cave, Jake
Cone, Zach
Dunston, Shawon
Howard, Dillon
Purke, Matt
Sanchez, Gary
Sterling, Felix
Hechavarria, Adeiny
Garcia, Leury
Holt, Bradley
Valle, Sebastian

-- The lineup is a little weak compared to past years, but there should be enough offense especially in the middle of the lineup to score some runs and wear pitching down. The battle for RF and DH will be in full force in the spring with no guarantees at either slot.

-- The bench is decent, but could use a little upgrading. However, I don't worry too much about the bench players being in the AL

-- The rotation is the heart of this team and should scare most opposing teams. All of these guys could be considered a #1 or #2 SP on most teams

-- The bullpen is also a strong point of this team especially in the late innings. The ageless wonder, Mo Rivera, will again be counted on to close out games for the IBC Yanks

-- The farm is not as strong as in past years, but we still have some top prospects and a nice draft class where good things are expected

-- Needs: I would take this team into the season with no worries, however I am looking for a nice SIM bat to insert into the DH / RF slot. Also would not mind another shut down LH RP. For those looking for a good young starter I could make Ivan Nova available in the right deal. If you see someone else that catches your eye let me know as well.

-- I can't wait to get the season rolling and shoot for back-to-back-to-back IBC titles. We will wear the bulls-eye on our backs with pride, just like the pinstripes! Good luck to everyone in 2012!

That would be great! It's tough to top the previous AL Beast teams with Bren, Dan and Pat B. The Jays have been nothing but consistent and Pat won it all in 2008.

The current division is tough, especially with JB and Pat T. Nobody wants to face a rotation with a minimum era+ of 126 (C.C. no less) eighteen times a year.

I'm hoping I can run something respectable out there for a change.
