2011 Pirates

Post by Cardinals »

The defending NL Central champion and IBC wins record (OK, I know that's like 18-1 but hey, the Pats have a 16-0 banner) holding Pirates will look like this:

C Molina .277/.340/.366, 90+, Ex arm
1B Johnson (unknown)/ Vlad .293/.343/.491, 117+
2B Polanco (unknown)
SS Furcal .276/.341/.402, 102+, Vg R
3B Longoria .279/.362/.504, 132+, Ex R
LF Holliday .296/.376/.491, Av R, 131+
CF Byrd (unknown)
RF Raburn (unknown)

SP Lincecum 1.13 WHIP, 150+
SP Johnson 1.13 WHIP, 147+
SP Haren 1.16 WHIP, 117+
SP Nolasco 1.17 WHIP, 112+

I'm getting progressively lazier with my stats

CL Broxton 145+
RP Ramirez 118+
RP Gregg unknown
RP Miller 110+
RP Gervacio 94+

Betances could find himself in the pen as well, seemed to have an OK preview projection for those with ESPN Insider. Do want another pen arm. Happy with my defense - going to have Ex/Vg on the leftside of the infield, definitely Vg at 2B with Polanco barring a surprise (possibly Ex? Lots of DRS in limited time). Hoping for Vg from Byrd in CF but not holding my breath - ZiPS defense is erratic.

Should note that Byrd and Ramirez' addition are pending trade approval, but should be done and done within a day or two.
