2019-20 Pirates: Review & Coming+Going

Post by Pirates » Wed Nov 06, 2019 3:08 pm

Pittsburgh had another successful season capturing the NL Central title, but injuries to Mike Trout and Joey Gallo made competing for a title an extremely uphill battle.

Still, I would've liked to at least win a playoff series but Bishop's Cubs were scrappy and beat up on my bullpen.

Going into 2020, we're carrying a roster a bit on the older side.

C Molina
1B Freeman
2B Moustakas
SS Vargas
3B Carpenter
LF Braun
CF Trout
RF McCutchen

Bench: Thames, Gardner, Pence, Cabrera, Kinsler, Shaw, Lamb, Diaz

SP: Scherzer, Greinke, Morton, Hill, Wainwright, Fiers, Samardizja, Hernandez
RP: Ottavino, Miller, Harris, Morrow, Kennedy, Familia, Roe, Webb, Lopez, Holder, Elias

Trout and Molina are the only untouchables here.
