IBC Cardinals offseason

Post by Astros »

The Cardinals, having won their first World Series title, are looking to retool this offseason. Winning with pitching and hitting from April-July, then pitching and smoke and mirrors the rest of the way was quite a feat and it is time to pull a JP and retool and try to win the World Series in 2009.

The following are guys I'm looking to deal. The only guys I won't consider dealing unless you totally blow me away are Lackey, Oswalt and Markakis. So, on the block are:

Rich Aurillia
Pat Burrell
Shawn Chacon
Scott Downs
Frank Francisco
Ryan Freel
Jon Garland
Tom Gordon
Carlos Guillen
Reed Johnson
Aaron Miles
Mike Redmond(trust me, limit him to 200-300 abs and he'll hit .330-.350)
Anthony Reyes
Scott Rolen
Jeff Salazar
Jeff Suppan
Brad Thompson

Looking for young major leaguers, high ceiling high level prospects. The main areas I'm looking to address as far as trades go is getting a shortstop and first basemen for the future. Of course, I'm always in the market for pitching. I'm usually around a couple hours a day at least so come at me.

Alright guys, so I haven't really followed through on rebuilding and have been lazy for the past 2 and a half months. But I still am looking to get younger, everyone available but Oz, Lackey and Markakis for the right price. Looking for 1b and SS mainly
