Sick idea for games this year

Post by Dodgers »

How many people would be interested in being able to follow their games in "real-time"? My thought is that essentially a new batter's result would be revealed every minute, you could join and leave whenever you wanted. It would be extremely primitive to begin with, but over time, I'm sure it would get better. My sole concern is that if boxes were uploaded late, when should the games should be played out. I could probably set it up so that you could either start the game when you came in or join it "in progress".

If this is feasable I would love to see it.

that would be a pretty cool feature if you're able to work it out.

Not as special as I thought I was: http://www.imaginesports.com/html/vt/pbpsample.html

Will be something similar to this, though we wouldn't have the detailed play by play, but I would be looking for movement of a ball, ala gamecast, as well as running box scores.

Even if you didn't invent the damn thing, the integration into IBC would make this another spectacular feature all around.
