So You Want to Buy a Baseball Team?

Really interesting, albeit a bit long, read that I thought at least some of you would find interesting. Could have major ramifications long-term depending on how MLB implements this.

It was an interesting read...but it leads to plenty of complications. Ideally you want owners that are willing to spend money to win...but if you are in it for the profit, then you get organizations like Oakland who become tight pocketed which isn't necessarily the best for the audience.

Yet you have this article coming out which also reinforces the point that some owners are more about the money then love of the game. https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories ... gue-teams/
