According to this - New Orleans and Charlotte should be the next two markets considered.
2008-2023 Mets: 1,054-1,223...463%
2006-2008 Rockies: 242-244...498%

IBC Total: 1,296-1,467...469%
2022: lost WC
2023: lost WC

I would love to see this map side by side with a map of the actual footprint of those fanbases and see how much the geography overlaps. I know the Cardinals fanbase is far larger than the geographic footprint on this map, same with the Braves

More likely Portland, Charlotte and Montreal for actual population and market base...while getting the Rays out of TB. If Florida wants a team they can rally around the Marlins. Otherwise that is football country.

And while we are at it, move the A's to Sacramento and break up the stupid bay area feud...of course the Rivercats would need to move...but whatever.
