Will the Brewers Resign Sabathia?

Post by Pirates »

He already stated that he liked playing there, so will the Brewers man up and offer him a big deal?

Pretty sure he's off to Anaheim, with Sheets going to the Yankees.

Very possible, though if the Sox decide they want him, I bet they get him. I just hope they don't decide they want Sheets.
I think the Yankees end up obsessed with getting Manny and miss out on Sabathia.

The San Jose Mercury News passes along a rumor that CC Sabathia has declined the Yankees' six-year, $140 million offer.
Apparently, the rumor is spreading fast, and the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel has also picked up on it. An executive close to the CC Sabathia talks told the Andrew Baggerly of the Mercury News that the Brewers are emerging as the frontrunners for Sabathia.

Disagree, him turning down the Yankees means he's got something going with the Giants. How else does the Giants beat writer get the scoop?
