Could we really grab Epstein and Pujols in the same offseason? I'll settle for Fielder, if I must.

The is the beginning of the end of the curse. God I hope Epstein cleans house with his newly acquired power.

I don't think Pujols will use the Cubs for anything but leverage, but, I'd bet that you guys end up with Fielder. I've thought that all along, at least.

And I read that Sandberg would likely be Epstein's manager. So there might be some housecleaning.

Sanberg better not go back there. He is Charlie's successor. If Epstein was smart he wouldn't sign anyone. The Cubs don't have any good players at all.
